Impossible scenery beneath an improbable sky will assault all comprehension as you discover a world of winding, looping blacktop that should only exist through the looking glass. We’ll ride easy and roll high, lose our minds in the craziest town of them all and find inner peace with a full day’s ride along the big blue… It’s Dr Gonzo’s American Excess tour – far out and solid, baby.

Day One: Arrive LAX
Day Two: Marina Del Rey CA to Marina Del Rey CA. Pick up bikes, shakedown run…(150 miles)
Day Three: Marina Del Rey CA to Joshua Tree CA. Angeles national forest and Big Bear Lake. (250 miles)
Day Four: Joshua Tree CA to Prescott AZ. Joshua Tree National Park, across the Colorado and into Arizona. (295 miles)
Day Five: Prescott AZ to Monument Valley UT. Kaibab National Forest and the Grand Canyon. (305 miles)
Day Six: Monument Valley UT to Kanab UT. Monument Valley. (325 miles)
Day Seven: Kanab UT to Las Vegas NV. Zion National Park, Valley of Fire and the Hoover Dam. (270 miles)
Day Eight: Vegas, baby.
Day Nine: Las Vegas NV to Tom’s Place CA. Area 51 and Death Valley – California, here we come… (330 miles)
Day Ten: Tom’s Place CA to San Francisco CA. The High Sierra and Yosemite National Park. (275 miles)
Day Eleven: San Francisco CA to Pismo Beach CA. Route 1(S) all the way – Monterey Bay, Big Sur and sunset over the ocean. (270 miles)
Day Twelve: Pismo Beach CA to Marina Del Ray CA. Then a final fling through the Los Padres Forest, swing by Malibu and home. (210 miles)
Day Thirteen: Depart LAX
Price is per person and includes bike, accommodation, breakfast/dinner, expert guides, back up/luggage vehicle and selected entertainment.
All you need do to secure a place on one of our incredible tours is to make a minimum deposit of £500 GBP (per person), with the balance being due no later than six months before the date of departure.
